Saban Center Appoints Jamie Burke Director of Development

Saban Center Executive Director Audrey Buck has appointed Dr. Jamie Burke Director of Development effective August 24, 2026.

Burke has over a decade of development experience, most recently serving as the Director of Prospect Management at The University of Alabama.  Prior to that role, Burke served as the Associate Director of Development for the Styslinger College of Engineering. She has also held roles with the Division of Advancement at The University of Alabama, supporting fundraising, alumni relations, and event management.

“We are delighted to welcome Jamie to the Saban Center team,” said Saban Center Executive Director Audrey Buck. “Her expertise, dedication, and longstanding service to the Tuscaloosa community make her an exceptional addition to our organization. We look forward to the meaningful impact she will undoubtedly make as we move toward our opening to the public in early 2028.”

Burke is passionate about the Tuscaloosa community and has served as Vice President of Membership for the Junior League of Tuscaloosa, mentor for FuelTuscALoosa, member of the Board of Directors for the Tuscaloosa County Chapter of The University of Alabama National Alumni Association, member of the United Way of West Alabama Volunteer Allocation Team and more.

Prior to her time with The University of Alabama, Burke worked for Pi Beta Phi Fraternity for Women in St. Louis and the Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum in Nashville.

Burke holds a PhD in Higher Education Administration, a Master of Library and Information Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies from The University of Alabama.
